At Rydex
In 2004, David joined Rydex as director of portfolio strategies. He is charged with developing strategies using Rydex products, positioning the products and acting as a spokesperson for the firm.

Background
David has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Rydex, David was senior vice president, research with LPL Financial Services, where he was responsible for all internal and external communications for the research department. Previously, David served as director of institutional marketing and communications at State Street Research, senior vice president and director of investment communications at Prudential Investments and vice president, portfolio manager at Eaton Vance Management, where he managed five investment grade municipal bond funds while marketing the funds through presentations and the media. He began his career in 1984 at Scudder, Stevens and Clark as vice president, senior municipal bond analyst. David received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Skidmore College and is also a chartered financial analyst.

He has been quoted in several publications including The Boston Globe and The Wall Street Journal and has published numerous articles on a number of financial topics.
