At Rydex
Mike joined Rydex in December 2000. He worked as a research analyst and portfolio manager prior to his promotion to director of investment research in 2005. Mike is a member of the Rydex Investment Strategy Committee, which determines investment policy for all Rydex funds.

Background
Before joining Rydex, Mike worked as an equity research analyst at Invista Capital Management, where he researched new investment opportunities for the firm. Previously, he was owner/consultant of Dellapa Consulting Inc. as well as a senior consultant and an analyst at Andersen Consulting. Mike has been quoted in CBSMarketWatch.com and Investor’s Business Daily. He has also been a guest on Bloomberg Television.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. He is also a
chartered financial analyst.
