Wayne Cobb
Executive Vice President of Operations

Wayne joined Rydex in May 2002. As executive vice president of operations, he oversees the transfer agency, compliance, fund accounting, information technology, finance and facilities teams. As a member of the firm’s executive office, he helps shape the firm’s strategic direction, with specific emphasis on the operating plan. His responsibilities include risk management, budgeting, resource planning and forecasting. Prior to his current position, he served as chief technology officer.

Wayne has more than 16 years of experience in technology, engineering and management. Before joining Rydex, he served as the vice president of technology at Thomson Wealth Management and held positions at Credit Management Solutions Incorporated, VALIDITY Corporation, Henry M. Jackson Foundation, Becton Dickinson and Biomedical Research and Developmental Labs.

Wayne earned a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering technology from Capitol College and an associate degree in electronics engineering from Montgomery College. Wayne is also a motivational speaker, addressing college audiences and professional associations on attaining success as well as career management.
